If you are planning in participating in an Interscholastic Sport, make sure you have a current physical. Don't wait until school begins to make your doctor appointment! Football begins right away...so get those physicals early!

2009-2010 Registration will take place on Monday, August 17th from 8:00 – 10:00 for 6th graders, 10:30 – 12:30 for 7th and 12:30-2:30 for 8th graders.  The first day of school for 6th graders is Tuesday, August 18th.  7th and 8th graders start school on Wednesday, August 19th

If you will be moving this summer and your child will be returning to Southern Hills, please notify the main office of your new address and the effective date by June 8th so that we can send your Registration Packet to the correct address.  Registration packets will be mailed during the summer and, due to postal regulations, the post office will not forward them.  If you move and do not receive your packet in the mail please come to school after August 10 to pick one up.

Congratulations to Southern Hills !!
Southern Hills Middle School was recognized by 5280 magazine this month as being one of the top schools in the Denver Metro area.  This list of 44 schools, elementary through high school, included only a handful of middle schools, with Southern Hills being one of only three public middle schools to be cited.  We are the only true middle school to receive this recognition in BVSD. 
The Southern Hills Community should feel extremely proud of this recognition and everything that you do to make our school such a great place for students to learn and grow.
