Pyramid of Interventions:
Platt has an intervention pyramid which provides a framework for staff to collaborate with the student and their family to achieve academic success. The intervention pyramid process outlines the steps we will take to make sure that no student "falls through the cracks". There are as many as five levels of interventions that a student will receive if placed in our intervention process. One of the successful intervention strategies are the Reading/Writing and Math clinics that students can access in place of an elective for one trimester or more. These clinics focus on building student’s skills in these subject areas.
You can contact our Counseling office if you have questions about our Pyramid of Interventions.CSAP
