Student Registration
Registration is held in the spring for returning students and incoming kindergarten students. Registration for students new to the district is held in August prior to the beginning of school.
The following information is needed for registration:
- Registration forms: These forms may be picked up at the school office or you may request them to be faxed.
- Birth certificate showing proof of age: To enter Kindergarten, a child must be five years old on or before September 30th. To enter first grade, a child must be six years old on or before September 30th.
- Immunization records: All students entering BVSD schools must show a proof of immunization upon registration.
- Physicals: It is recommended that all students entering Kindergarten, 4th, 7th, and 10th grade, and all those new to the district, receive a physical examination. Most physicians have the examination report form in their offices. Please return the form on or before the first day of school.
- Transcripts: Request transcripts from all previously-attended schools.
