Foothill Parent/Teacher Organization 
 
The Foothill PTO is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of Foothill Elementary students by raising funds, building community and providing services for Foothill Elementary School.  This year we will work to raise over $70,000 to support Foothill. Our main fundraisers will be Feed the Fox, Bingo Nights and Meet & Greet Nights.

 

BINGO Night
Throughout the year each grade level holds a Friday night BINGO session. Volunteers set up, take down, and sell BINGO cards as well as pizza, candy, and beverages. Volunteers also donate prizes, candy, and paper supplies. All money raised at the BINGO nights goes to the grade level hosting the event.

Meet and Greet Nights
In October a volunteer from each grade level opens their home for a Mom's night out to raise money for their student’s grade level. 

Book Fair
In November the school librarian holds a Scholastic book fair. Volunteers promote the fair and work two-hour shifts. All money raised at the book fair is used to update the library.

President will oversee each of these committees and manage the administration of the PTO (General and Board Meeting agendas) and serve as the main liaison to the school Principal.

Vice President will provide support to committee chairs and President, maintain a current list of chairs, recruit chairs when positions open, manage post event evaluations and serve as liaison to school administration.

Grand Rabbits Toy Shoppe
When shoppers at Grand Rabbit Toy Shoppe mention Foothill Elementary our school receives a store credit. (10% of the pre-tax amount)

Play Fair Toys
When shoppers at Play Fair Toys mention Foothill Elementary, our school receives a store credit.

Box Tops for Education
Many foods have a General Mills “Box Tops for Education” coupon worth $0.10 on them. Parents drop these coupons off in the front lobby and a volunteer sends them to General Mills for reimbursement.

Cartridges for Kids
When parents bring in empty inkjet, laser, fax, and copier cartridges and used cell phones volunteers collect these items and trade them in for reimbursement.

Target “Take Charge in Education”
When members use their Target Guest Card or Target VISA at Target Stores, an amount equal to 1% of their purchase goes to the school of their choice. When you use your Target VISA elsewhere, an amount equal to ½% goes to Foothill. To enroll, call 1-888-755-5856 or enroll at www.target.com.
