All of the students at Flatirons voted for their favorite Pebble Pebble T-shirt design this week! All of the designs were fabulous, which made it difficult choose! Congratulations to Ellie Fox for creating the winning design!
Next week, April 6th-10th, you can purchase the official Pebble Pebble T-shirt in the front after school from 2:50-3:05. Kid T-shirts will be $12 and adult T-shirts will be $15. Not only will you be fashionable, but you will also be supporting the Running Club!
If you are unable to purchase the T-shirts next week, there is another option. This option might be the most convenient! In your child’s Friday folder this week, you will find an order form. Please return this order form with your payment to Jamie Rose no later than Monday, April 13th. I cannot accept late orders because the orders will be placed on Monday after school.
Remember: The fun run is not just for those children in the Running Club. Everyone in the Flatirons community is encouraged to join us!
The End of the Year Picnic will follow the fun run. More information to come in the upcoming weeks.

Pebble Pebble Fun Run
The Pebble Pebble Fun Run will be Sunday, May 17th, 2009
at North Boulder Park from 12:00-3:00
The End of the Year Picnic will follow!
There will be three waves for the Pebble Pebble this year. The Kindergarteners and the First Graders (along will younger siblings) will compete in the first wave. They will have the option of running one lap (1/2 mile) or two laps (1 mile). The second wave will follow for the 2nd and 3rd graders. The 4th and 5th graders will compete in the last wave. The course overview and the first wave will begin at 12:00 sharp! Please arrive at 11:30 to register for the fun run.
We will have a raffle with a variety of wonderful prizes after the event and the end of the year picnic will follow.
*The Pebble Pebble is a Flatirons community event and is not just for the children in the Running Club.
Funding -- Pebble-Pebble t-shirt sales and donations at the Pebble Pebble support the club. $250 in seed money was provided by the PTO to start the Running Club in its first year. Instructor time is paid by the BVSD Extra Contract Duty fund. |
