The Fairview Science Department offers high-level courses designed to educate students in the sciences. We are proud to utilize the latest in teaching methods and technology to educate our students in the best way possible. Fairview Science emphasizes a learning-through-experience strategy, and we offer the highest in facilities for our students. Fairview offers courses for Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. We are also proud to offer upper-level AP/IB courses for all three of the core subjects (Bio, Chem, Phys).

A wonderful site on genetics for beginners and experts alike! It has a series of notes (41 total) on genetics, each equipped with images, animations, biographies and problems and links relevant to that note.

This site takes an in depth look at evolution. It covers different models of evolution, and it also dicusses how the theory of evolution has "evolved" through time.

ScienceNet is a great site specifically desined to help its users find answers to their questions. If you can't find an answer to your question, you can submit it, and they will email you an answer.

This is a fun site that lets you experiment with inertia, acceleration due to gravity, acceleration as a function of force and mass, and geometric concepts. It is also a fun site to experiment with.

This site is good for finding out about breaking science news. Here, one can find out what is going on in the experimental world.
