School Closures

Volunteers are an essential part of Emerald Elementary.

Volunteers help classroom teachers to spend more time with the students by helping with grading papers, putting up bulletin boards, and various other clerical duties. Volunteers also help students by working with small groups or individuals on math facts, spelling, reading, or any other activity the teacher would like to see the students work on.  

our students get home safely. Volunteers help classes in the computer lab. Teachers can always use an extra hand during their lab time. The library volunteers help get our books checked in and back on the shelves as quickly as possible so the kids can find the exact book they are looking for.
