  • 1 4oz. bottle of glue
  • 2 glue sticks, 1.27 oz.
  • 12, #2 wooden, undecorated pencils *
  • 1 pair Fiskar scissors, metal blades
  • 1 tray watercolor paints (8 colors) *
  • 2 boxes, 8 count, washable wide felt tip markers (Crayola Classics)
  • 1 small durable sponge
  • 4 solid color pocket folders (red & green) *
  • 2 solid color wide line spiral notebooks/non-perforated
  • 1 1” black 3 ring binder with side pockets
  • 1 roll masking tape
  • $10 classroom money/voluntary contribution (for batteries, film developing, computer disks & printer ink cartridges). Please do not send in these items as the teachers will purchase them as needed.
  • $2 voluntary contribution for penmanship journal to be purchased on first day of school

Please keep one change of clothes in a ziplock bag in your child’s backpack in case he/she needs a change of clothes on a wet day.

We encourage you to label PERSONAL belongings: not on (*) items. Drop in right away if you notice a missing coat, boots, etc. The lost and found tends to pile up! We really appreciate it (and so will your child) when you label his/her lunchbox and backpack. They look so much alike when 25 end up in the same classroom!

We are looking forward to a great year. One of our goals will be to help your child be responsible for caring for his/her supplies and personal belongings.

Parents, this is a general supply list for all first grade teachers. Additional supply lists from individual teachers will be distributed the first week of school.

Thank You,
First Grade Teachers
