Crest View was named a John Irwin School of Excellence in 2004.

In December 2003, we received an “Excellent” rating from the Colorado Department of Education.

Woodcock Munoz Language Survey WMLS results for students not tested by CSAP showed at or significantly above yearly growth in one year’s time.

Crest View met AYP in 2003 and 2004 under the Leave No Child Behind Act.

Crest View weighted index score Gain results demonstrated a year’s growth (within error of measurement) for all students in Reading, Writing and continued outstanding scores in Math.

No significant differences occurred in gain scores for all students when disaggregated for Ethnicity.

When disaggregated by gender, a slight difference occurred in gain scores for Reading for the first time since 2001, while no difference was noted again in writing between genders.

Kindergarten Intervention Program (KIP) reduced the percentage of at risk students for Learning Disabilities identified through district instruments from 25% (22 students) of 2003-2004 class at the beginning of the year to 3% at the end of the year (data supplied by BVSD Special Education Department).
