CAS
CREATIVITY/ ACTION/ SERVICE
(150 hours from sophomore summer-senior spring semester)
- PeaceJam: This organization supports the work of Invisible Children and the Global Call to Action set forth by the 10 Nobel Peace Laureates last September. We will develop our personal answer to these ideas to further peace in our world. This year we will be focusing on the IB Community Theme: Peace and Conflict. Join this group to continue our fight against child soldiers and to celebrate International Peace Day on September 21st!
Your own creative endeavors, service projects, and activities can also add up to the 150 hours needed for your IB Diploma also.
Remember: all hours spent from your sophomore summer through your senior spring semester can count! Mrs. Francis, CHS CAS Advisor, will be informing you on how to register for your own CAS page for recording your work during the first IB Seminars, Tuesdays from 2:35-3:00.
