Research has repeatedly shown that kids who are involved in something outside of academics have a stronger sense of themselves and feelings of fulfillment.  Encourage your child to participate somewhere...  who knows what friends they might make and what experiences might impact the direction of their lives!

Sarah Buchanansarah.buchanan@bvsd.orgCHS 360 is a peer leadership and mentoring group that supports freshman transition into high school.  LINKS is available to all interested junior & seniors and meets tow-three times a month.  Students apply in the spring through essays.

Liz Bakaselizabeth.bakas@bvsd.orgNewspaper is a full-year course that produces the newspaper and school announcements. The class is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors who complete an application and submit it to the advisor. Approval will be given before the end of the school year.
