We will all miss Mr. Leech, he was very relentless, diligent and persistent. Taking his place will be Mrs. Long, which will bring to the class a sense of teamwork, pleasantness and equity.

BHS StuCo is hosting a movie night on the 16th located at the stadium. The movie being played is Transformers and will begin at dusk. Admission is free and concessions are cheap.

Starting Monday, water jugs will be placed around the school, their purpose is to collect pennies for local kids battling luekemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Students are encouraged to donate pennies and help the cause

Thursday April 24th, voting ballots will be passed around to all fourth period classes in order for the entire student body to vote on the Student Council executive board. Remember, the 22nd is the deadline for all petitions for those who wish to run to be turned in.

      If you are interested in a position of leadership in your school, then stop by room 401 for information and a petition to begin running. Petitions with signatures are due April 22nd. Upon turning in a valid petition, your name will be entered in the upcoming vote for Student Council executive board.
 
The positions available are:
- Two co-presidents
- One secretary
- One treasurer
