A month ago N.C.A.R. solicited school participation in an Earth Day Mural. Our student teacher, John Linn, designed the mural, and all students, kindergarten through first grade, drew and painted a symbol of what earth day meant to them. The mural hung in the halls of N.C.A.R. for a month, but has now been returned to Bear Creek. It can be readily viewed throughout the spring and summer months in our front lobby. The minute I put it up on the wall students were busily trying to find their work.
