Middle Level Sports
Aspen Creek K-8 offers a wide variety of after-school sports during the year. The interscholastic program has scheduled competitions against other middle schools in our district. BVSD offers football, girls and boys basketball, and girls volleyball in 8th grader and wrestling and track for students in grades 6-8. Please listen to the school announcements for specific beginning and ending dates of these seasons. There is no cut policy for all of these sport offerings at Aspen Creek K-8. A completed sports packet including an athletic physical examination, and a $75 participation fee is required in order to participate in each interscholastic sport (fee waivers are available through the administrators office.) All sports physicals must be current within the last 365 days.
Intramural activities are available for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. This program allows them to practice for two to three weeks and then compete with other sixth, seventh and eighth grader students in a culminating event. A sports packet consisting of an athletic insurance waiver from and a $35 participation fee are required in order to participate in each intramural sport (fee for waivers are available through the administrators officer), and other info is available from the Athletic Directors Secretary.
