My education:I am actually a product of Boulder Valley Schools!! I attended Eisenhower Elementary, Burbank Middle (now Manhattan), and Fairview High.
I recieved my bachelor's degree from University of Northern Colorado in middle school math education, and my masters from Walden University in elementary literacy and math. I just finished becoming a highly qualified teacher for social studies!!
My Profession:This is my third year of teaching at Southern Hills Middle School. I have previously taught in Thorton, Colorado (8th grade math), and Charleston, South Carolina (6th grade math). I can't imagine teaching any other age group than middle school- it is always a little bit crazy!
My Family:My parents still live in Boulder, Colorado and my younger brother just graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Communications. Most of my immediate family lives here in the Denver Metro Area!
