The Fairview High School Library plays a unique and important role in the education of students. The Fairview library is a dynamic center for teaching and learning and provides an environment to stimulate intellectual growth through:
- Imparting to students research skills necessary and suitable for an information age.
- Developing consistent and purposeful research methods throughout the entire school.
- Providing up-to-date technology for efficient research. Arranging for a wide variety of culturally and intellectually diverse materials and activities.
- Encouraging life-long learning and pleasurable reading.

Mission Statement
The Mission of the Fairview High School Library Media Program is to support the curriculum of the school, and as part of that mission provide access to current, adequate, and appropriate information resources, and to ensure that all students, teachers, and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
