Family Connection is a powerful tool to track and record personal scholastic information (GPA, SAT, ACT), investigate personality styles and associated college majors and explore possible college choices, as well as a host of other options.
Features for Fairview students include:
- "Colleges that I'm Considering"-list colleges that interest you and receive an e-mail if they are scheduled to visit Fairview.
- "Colleges to which I'm Applying"–track the status of your application.
- "My Game Plan"–series of questions to help your counselor work with you to help you achieve your goals after graduation.
- "My Personality Type"–a tool to determine your personality type (Meyer-Briggs format), careers connected to personality, majors connected to careers, and colleges connected to majors.
- "See How You Stack Up"-look at data on past Fairview students—which colleges they applied to, how many students were admitted from those applicants, and how a current student’s test score and GPA compare to those students admitted.
- "College Compare"–compare average GPAs and tests scores from FHS at up to 10 colleges. School averages are displayed in green when your number is higher and in red when your number is lower.
- "Scholarship Lists."

Students: To obtain a login to Fairview Family Connection, get a
password from the Counseling Department or use “knights” as a
guest login. Your own login gives you access to your personal data.
Parents: Obtain your own login by visiting the Counseling
Department or use “knights” as a guest login. For privacy
reasons, we cannot give out usernames and passwords over
the telephone or through e-mail. Please bring a photo ID.
