Tennis Tournament at the Meadows Club
(you do not have to be a Meadows member to attend this fun event)

This year Eisenhower is doing a brand new fundraiser that should be great fun for your children, yourself and the entire family.... a tennis tournament! All proceeds go to your PTA for important accademic programs.
We are short this year with raising funds for our budget, and need to raise as much money as possible, so important accademic programs do not get cut. These programs are at risk:

Literacy Matching funds, $1200

Technology, $1000
-
Para time, $3000
-
Classroom support, drop $100 for each grade, $600

Teacher release day, $800
-
Programs for kids, $150
-
Teacher staff appreciation, $500
-
School environment, $500
-
The total would be around $7,750
How it works for Children:
Children get sponsored for how many points are played. Tennis Tournament Envelopes will be going out April 23, in their Fri. Folder, and returned May 15th.
Each round is about 15 min. long.
Each child is assigned a group by color.
It is open to everyone, so if your child has a sibling who wants to play s/he is more than welcome to play. Eisenhower children are raising money by being sponsored, and non-Eisenhower children cost $25.00 to participate.
Every child who participates gets a participation prize!
Most children know the basic rules of tennis through their PE classes, so even if your child has never played tennis before there is a category just for them!!
How it works for Adults:
Adults are in a partnership. It is a combined NTRP Rating of 6.5
i.e a 3.0 partnered with a 3.5. 4.0 with a 2.5 etc. The prize is a 7 day Steamboat vacation in a rustic house that accommodates 8 people (major holidays excluded). Please choose your partner wisely. If you win, you will be going on vacation with them.
The cost per adult is $40.00. You may choose a non-Eisenhower parent as your partner.
