We are studying weather and extreme weather. We used newspapers, books, online sources and experts to gather information. We read the print and the images. As we read, we asked questions, inferred, learned, and answered our questions.
We talked as we investigated our way through our sources. Our talk was elaborated as we shared and discussed our weather schema with the large group. We wrote, coded and categorized our thinking.
Together we are creating texts that are student generated in order to read and learn more about weather.
