Wanda R. Pelegrina Caldas, Family Outreach Coordinator
Born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico - an army brat raised here, there and everywhere. Wanda has been the FRS Family Outreach Coordinator at Columbine since October 2002. Although Wanda's schooling is originally in the field of Communication and Marketing, she has over 10 years experience working with diverse populations and families/individuals of different backgrounds.
Wanda has been car free for over 13 years and dedicates all her free time to Community Cycles a local non-profit that she co-founded in 2006. Community Cycles collects used bikes and utilizes them in programs, locally and internationally -

Nacida en Río Piedras, Puerto Rico fue criada un poco aquí, un poco allá y un poco por otros lados porque su papá era militar. Wanda ha sido la coordinadora del Programa de recursos para familias desde octubre del 2002. Aunque sus estudios fueron en las áreas de Comunicación y Mercadeo, Wanda tiene más de 10 años de experiencia trabajando con grupos diversos y familias/ individuos de diferentes orígenes.
Hace más de 13 años que Wanda decidió llevar una vida libre de autos y hace todo a bici. Durante su tiempo libre Wanda se dedica a Community Cycles una organización no para fondos que ella ayudó a crear en el 2006. Community Cycles (Bicicletas para la comunidad) recoge bicicletas usadas y las usa en programas locales e internacionales -

Bea Blum, FRS Therapist
Beatriz Blum, M.A., L.M.F.T.., immigrated to the U.S. from Argentina when she was almost 11 years old. She is a Licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist. She has expertise working with children and families and helping them to resolve conflict, trauma, and communication needs. She teaches balance in all areas of interaction, including physical and emotional health, as well as stress reduction and relaxation. She strongly believes that the best way to achieve desired change is by having fun. She encourages everyone to take action that is aligned with their dearest values.
Marilee Snyder, FRS Therapist

Marilee Snyder, LCSW, DCSW, MBA. A board certified, licensed clinical social worker, Marilee specializes in child and family therapy. She has 16 years of experience working in elementary, middle, and high schools, community-based organizations, child welfare and DSS settings, hospitals and outpatient clinics, and private practice. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, has served diverse at-risk populations dealing with such problems as family and neighborhood violence, substance abuse, child and elder abuse, immigration and acculturation, depression and other chronic mental health disorders, trauma, teen relationships and pregnancy, etc. Marilee is a Colorado native recently relocated to Boulder from Chicago, and is joyful to be a mile high once again, hiking, bicycling, and breathing Colorado air! She has already been adopted by a cat named Tyler who is busy organizing her home life. Marilee works 20 hours a week at Columbine and 20 hours a week at Crestview Elementary Schools.
