Going to a new school in sixth grade can be a challenging transition. We want to make that move easy and fun for students by offering a Shadow Day. A Shadow Day is a chance for prospective fifth-graders to see what life in middle school is like.
Fifth-grade students will shadow a Casey sixth-grader from 8:45am to 12:40pm - this is our first 4 periods of the day plus lunch. Shadow Days are limited to 15 students per day; the dates are December 1, 4, 8, 11 and January 8, 12, and 15. Registration is required - please call Carrie Hausfather at 720-561-2732. Students may pack a lunch or buy one in the cafeteria at the price they usually pay.
