All CTE instructors with program approvals due as noted above are responsible to make an appointment with Jeanne Rafferty, X5224. Submittals must be done through the Director’s Office and must be submitted three months prior to the expiration date. Program approvals require advisory committee action, review and recommendation prior to the deadline submittal. The CTE office will guide the instructor in the process step-by-step. You will receive specific emails guiding you in this endeavor; please respond as noted.
Revisions Due:
Add B60, Business Mgmt, to high school programs as they renew where approved by Advisory Comm.
Add V90 to all high school program approvals as they renew where approved by Advisory committees.
Program Assessment (Concerns and paperwork to Christine Meadows, X5233)
Updates with data, syllabi changes, course outlines, escrow credit, etc. are due November 1st to the CTE Director’s Office, to Mike Rask.
Summarize how you resolved issues, from the prior school year, review, done by CTE Director, Mike Rask, so as to comply with state requirements.
CTSO Plans (Concerns and paperwork to Christine Meadows, X5233)
Action Plan is due September 30th.
Report on Action Plan is due, May 1st.
At the beginning of each semester, a list of current officers is due.
Minutes from your club meetings must be provided Nov 1st and April 3rd. No Stipends will be paid without all required paperwork completed by required deadlines.
Copy of CTSO Guidelines and Form (in Relationship to PA) is now included in the CTE Handbook. Procedure was updated by CCCS in July 2004. Please be aware of the requirements.
Advisory Meetings (Concerns and paperwork to Christine Meadows, X5233)
Membership must be represented by at least 51% from industry.
One meeting must be held per semester. The 1st Advisory Meeting must be held prior to November 15th, and the 2nd meeting prior to March 15th.
Meeting minutes are due within a week after the meeting is held. NOTE: Meeting minutes must be signed by the person recording the minutes. Also, you must, now use the state specified format for your agenda and minutes. Agendas and minutes must be typed.
A current Advisory membership list including: name, title name of business, address, phone, and email (optional) is required.
Credentials (Concerns and paperwork to Christine Meadows, X5233)
Check your Vocational Credential expiration date.
Check your CDE expiration date.
Meet requirements at least two months prior to expiration.
CTE renewal applications must be signed by CTE Director.
CTE renewals must be mailed one month prior to expiration.
CDE renewals must be mailed at least two months prior to expiration.

Follow-ups are due in January of each year.
Enrollments, with completion status, are due in May of each year.
