MY PLANET GROUP PROJECT (RAZZLE)
I. Ten countries from Earth that are allowed on Mearth. Why those countries? Think about bringing the physical landscape, climate, food, people, culture, businesses, etc.
1. Italy-Food
2. France-The amazing Scenery
3. Germany- Friendly People
4. U.S. - Good economic system
5. Canada-Not a populated country
6. Spain-Sports and entertainment
7. Hungary-Artistic abilities
8. Chile-Agriculture
9. Ireland-The luck of the Irish
10. Jamaica- The decent climate all year round
II. Map: What will Mearth look like?
Razzle will look like a slice of watermelon with a bite out of it.
III. Culture: What will the culture of Mearth be like?
Razzle will be multicultural.
IV. Issues: How will you handle the issues that challenge Earth?Poverty, Disease, Immigration/Migration
We will enforce the law, by having a regular number of police out during nighttime and daytime. Every one on Razzle will be willing to live with diversity in Razzle's countries.
V. Economics: What will the economy look like? How will you handle challenges that we face on Earth? Outsourcing, Globalization
We will use the U.S. economic system.
VI. Government: What will the government be like? Democracy? Communism?
Our government would be open-minded and try new ideas for our planet Razzle. Razzle will run its government with Democracy.
VII. Resources: What type of resources will be on your planet and how will they be used?
Razzle will use only renewable resources. For example, wind, solar, and natural gas.
VIII. Conflict: How will conflict be handled on your planet? Think of examples that we’ve learned about in class. Kashmir, A Long Way Gone, Child Warfare in Africa, War
There will be no child soldiers in Razzle. For the most part, we will not have any wars.
IX. Population: How will you manage the population? Think about overpopulation, China’s One Child Policy, Japan and population density, etc.
To control the population of Razzle, we will have a limit of 3 children per family.
X. Environment/Climate: If you could control the climate so that it is ideal what would you do? How would you prepare for extreme weather: Monsoons, Hurricane, and Cyclones?
Throughout the year, the temperature will range from 55 degrees-85 degrees. There will be 20 in. of rain each year. No natural disasters will occur.
