We recently revamped our Special Education program to better address the needs of our students with mild or moderate disabilities. We eliminated the distinction between traditional education and special education in our reading and math programs. Now, regular and special education teachers are able to team-teach students with special education needs—using a small student-to-teacher ratio—to help students meet grade-level standards. Additionally, we offer a study skills class that enables special education case managers to work with some students on their particular needs.
Angevine also offers a variety of programs that are specially tailored to assist students who struggle with severe emotional, physical and cognitive disabilities.
If you have any questions about the special education services available at Angevine, please contact the school psychologist, Chrissy Muller, at 303-665-5540, extension 251, or at chrissy.muller@bvsd.org.
