This school year, Angevine implemented a new Dual Language program to meet the language needs of its diverse student body. Through the new program, students can enroll in science and social studies classes that are taught in either English or Spanish. A student, for example, can take a science course that is taught in English and a social studies class taught in Spanish or vice versa, thereby developing his or her bilingual abilities. In addition to the Dual Language program, students enroll in all of the traditional Angevine courses and have the opportunity to enroll in a Spanish class that meets their ability levels. |
