The middle level philosophy for Boulder Valley Schools calls for a balance of academics, activities and guidance.  The goal of middle level guidance is to provide opportunities for students to learn behaviors that will enhance their academic progress and their relationships with others and to learn to be comfortable with and responsible for themselves.

The counseling staff at Angevine provides support and resources for students and their families.  Individual student needs are met through individual counseling, support groups, classroom guidance activities, monitoring of academic progress, class scheduling and peer mediation.

Students can find their counselor in the counselor’s office before/after school.  They are accessible and available throughout the school day.  It is best to make an appointment with the counseling office to see the counselor.  Students should always check-in with their teacher before going to the counseling office.
