Jazz Band
Angevine Middle School’s Jazz Ensemble is open to all students with prior band experience in grade 6th – 8th. Students in jazz band are exposed to this true American Art form by performing music of varied styles. The standard instrumentation of a jazz band include piano, bass, guitar, drum set, trombone, saxophone and trumpet. However, Angevine’s jazz band invited all instruments and students to be a part of this great jazz experience. The Angevine jazz band meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:45pm to 4:30pm. Student will perform in several public performances each year. Performances may range from formal concerts to performances at festivals such as Mile High Jazz Festival at Ralston Valley High School.
