What Is It?
The Parents as Mentors (PAM) is an outreach program through the PPP office intended to provide support and resource information to parents of students with special needs within their school community. This program enlists parent volunteers from individual schools who have a student with special needs and understands the difficulties that a parent goes through in advocating for their student. They can provide support, encouragement and share resources that are available in their community.
