Two BVSD students were recently recognized by the Boulder Kiwanis for their achievements in the Arapahoe Campus Career and Technical Education program.
Arial Luhrs was honored for her successful participation in Career Experience, a district-wide work study program. During a September luncheon, Arial was presented with an engraved plaque from Crown Trophy Inc. of Boulder, CO.
At the October luncheon, Tania Rivas was recognized for her success in the pet grooming program.
Both students plan to attend college next year.
It is the intention of Kiwanis members to support Arapahoe Campus-Boulder TEC’s career and technical programs and skill development projects. The mission of Kiwanis on a global scale is to change the world one child and one community at a time. Locally, they are forming relationships with schools and succeeding beyond expectations!
