BOULDER- Flatirons Elementary School’s first-year Odyssey of the Mind team placed first in the state championships and swept in both their long-term problem solving and spontaneous problem solving tasks. Students in the competition will go on to the Worlds Competition in Maryland, May 31 through June 2.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international, creative problem-solving competition for kindergarten through college-aged students. Never before had Flatirons students competed in Odyssey of the Mind. These creative problem solvers won the gold medal and are now preparing to hit the road for next level of competition at Worlds.
“The school community is very proud of their accomplishments,” said Robin Luff, a parent at Flatirons.
