BROOMFIELD, CO: The elementary-aged students at Emerald School get to hang out with industrious teenagers next week.
Students from New Vista High School in Boulder will spend four days at Emerald Elementary painting metal swing set structures, murals on the sidewalks and in the cafeteria, and working with the young students on literacy and math skills. This is a service project that helps high school students give back to the elementary students.
