The schools represented in this year’s competition include Casey Middle School, Summit Middle School, Centennial Middle School, Monarch K8 School, and Aspen Creek K8 School.

Along with managers from BVSD Food Services, local food celebrities will help judge, including Chef and Farmer Eric Skokan of Black Cat Farm-Table-Bistro; Brian Coppom, Executive Director of the Boulder County Farmers Market; and Paul Houle, Associate Director of CU Dining Services. Three BVSD students will also help select the winner of this year’s competition.

The event is sponsored by the Lifetime Foundation, Whole Foods Market and Lucky’s Market.

The School Food Project staff is looking forward to the great food and creative ideas that will be presented to the judges at the competition. See you there!
