BOULDER: Last Friday (April 1) at Foothill Elementary there was a celebration for raising funds for the American Heart Association. Foothill Elementary raised almost $17,000. This was more than any school in the state through the Jump Rope for Heart program. The American Heart Association sent a representative to the celebration to thank the students.
As a reward for fine fundraising efforts, Foothill music teacher Aaron Edrington allowed students to duct tape him to the wall. The PE teacher, James Brittenham, had his head shaved by the other PE teacher, Kate Clary (she got to keep her hair), and student Jason Hamming's name was drawn to win a "trikke."

BVSD congratulates Foothill Elementary on their outstanding fundraising efforts!
