BOULDER, CO – The clerk of the Boulder Valley Board of Education announced on August 26 that the November 1, 2011, candidate list for the four school board seats up for election had been officially set. Seven candidates total successfully gathered the signatures necessary to be placed on the fall election ballot.

(Sept. 9 Update: Barbara K. Blok submitted a letter of withdrawal as a candidate. Blok had been set to run in the District A race.)

In BVSD, school board candidates run as residents of a specific geographic district within BVSD but all voters district wide are eligible to vote in each race.
