Take My Teacher Home

Extending the school day for our youngest readers

Take My Teacher Home

"The take my teacher home is a great intervention because it is repetitive and consistent for the kids.  It exposes and teaches the children many different skills that lead into their success in learning key skills in literacy.  I have heard from parents that if I (the teacher) ask them to do something they would do it, but if they ask they won’t. This concept is a great example of this.  My kids go home and listen to me teaching them just as if I were in their house with them."
