 Coordinated School Health Partnership (CSHP)

The Coordinated School Health Partnership (CSHP)

Formerly known as the Health Education Partnership Advisory Committee, the CSHP originally formed in 2001 to provide leadership in developing the K-12 Comprehensive Health Education curriculum.  In 2003, the Committee's name changed to Health Parntership Advisory Committee (HPAC) when its mission broadened to provide leadership for a Coordinated School Health Initiative.  Membership including parents, teachers, students, community members and district administrators grew from twenty-five in 2001 to over ninety members in 2008.  The Committee changed its name to "Coordinated School Health Partnership" (CSHP) in 2008 and meets five times per academic year.

The CSHP Steering Committee

The CSHP Steering Committee was established in late 2007 to serve as a leadership group for CSHP.  Its members include representatives from the eight Coordinated School Health components.  Bylaws were drafted in early 2008.  The Committee will finalize its bylaws by the end of the 2007-08 school year.
