Library Advisory Council (LAC)

The LAC is a group of teacher librarians from every level (elementary, middle, & high) that represent the needs and concerns of the broader teacher librarian group. They act as liaisons between teacher librarians and district library leaders, and they help guide district policy decisions. LAC members serve limited terms so that every teacher librarian has the opportunity to serve in this leadership capacity.

District Library Leaders

Teacher Librarians receive support from district library leaders, who are all members of the Educational Technology Team. District library leaders collaborate with LAC members, advocate for teacher librarians to district administration, and provide professional development opportunities to foster 21st century librarianship at BVSD.
