Healthy Kids is a program to improve child health by linking all eligible children, families and pregnant women to health insurance benefits. Many uninsured children qualify for free or low-cost health insurance. Healthy Kids can issue a temporary Medicaid or Child Health Plan Plus card to eligible children usually the same day. We will assist with completing the application and gathering the documents necessary to apply. BL

HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties now offers Camp Erin, a grief support camp for children and teens ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of someone close to them. A weekend-long camp, it combines all the fun of a traditional camp with bereavement education. Runs Oct. 1-3 at Camp Wondervu, 40 miles west of Denver. Camp Erin is free but offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. FA
