Board of Education selects three superintendent search firm finalists

BOULDER - Next Wednesday, the Board of Education will interview representatives from the three search firms chosen as finalists in the bid to look for the Boulder Valley School District’s next superintendent.

A total of five firms submitted proposals, including Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, JG Consulting, McPherson & Jacobsen, Ray and Associates, and The Spearhead Group. The initial costs of the proposed search services range from $15,000 - $40,200.


Following a discussion on Tuesday, September 26, the Board chose three finalists: JG Consulting, McPherson & Jacobsen, Ray and Associates. 

The finalists will meet with Board directors on Wednesday, October 4. Representatives from each of the companies will engage in formal interviews. While the procurement process in BVSD, including interviews, are typically confidential, this session will be open to the public.
