Classroom Projector Initiative

Project Status

MediaCast, a local company in Westminster, was selected as the core video distribution system. This has been installed at IT and is up and running. The Instructional Technology team is working with schools to roll out the full capability of this system in each school. At the same time, a solution was approved by the School District to divert this year’s 3A dollars from PC replacement to classroom video. With this funding, along with the dollars left in the Bond IT Video Pilot, the District has begun an aggressive campaign to outfit each classroom with full video and audio capability. Rollout began in August.

Scope of Work
The pilot video project will install video projection systems in some classrooms in every school. A centralized video library and distribution system will also be created.
