Project Timeline

Beginning in the summer of 2009, Bond staff will conduct an assessment to identify program needs and facility deficiencies. A design advisory team will be formed in the winter of 2010 to work with the architect on developing a design plan for the facility. Construction will begin in the summer of 2010 and be completed for the 2011-2012 school year.

Project Status

Portions of the scope of work for this project were completed in the summer of 2007.

Community Montessori's enrollment has grown from around 186 in 2004 when the original building assessment was conducted, to over 300 projected for the 2010-2011 school year. To provide the school with more space, the decision has been made to move the Community Schools Program from the building it currently shares with Community Montessori to another district facility. This will provide the school with an additional 5,000 square feet.
