Activity that has occurred this period:

Walls and structural steel was set for the stage craft addition; foundation was completed for the new classroom and cafeteria addition; work on walls began. Completed demolition of cafeteria and Kindergarten.

Activity planned for next period:

All major construction work will be completed and the building, including new spaces, will be ready for occupancy by the start of school.

Scope of Work
Facility Condition Assessment (FCA):  Planned implementation (FCA):
  • HVAC upgrades
  • Replace H&V system in the original 1958 building and the 1970 addition. Replace unit ventilators in rooms 219A, 220, 221, 222 with a roof top unit. Clean and balance system.
  • Electrical service and distribution improvements
  • Upgrade electrical service to meet the needs of the building expansion and currant usage
  • Fire alarm, intercom and clock systems improvements
  • Replace master clock system, upgrade fire alarm to meet code, renovate intercom system
  • Interior finishes upgraded (i.e. ceiling tiles, carpet, wall finishes, etc.)
  • Complete remodel of the administrative area, kindergarten area
  • Roof replacement and repairs
  • Replace failing roof decks
  • Restroom renovations including ADA accessibility where required
  • Upgrade restrooms adjacent to the main entrance
  • Site irrigation system improvements

  • Add 1100 square foot platform and storage
  • Provide small group instructional spaces
  • Included in the new addition and renovation of the administrative and kindergarten wing.
  • Enlarge the cafeteria and kitchen
  • Add 6500 square foot cafeteria and kitchen
  • Kindergarten addition
  • Demolish portions of the existing cafeteria and kindergarten area and add new 3600 square foot kindergarten space.
  • Enlarge and renovate the administration offices
  • Renovate existing administrative area including new entrance
  • Add additional classrooms for enrollment growth

Multi-Use Outdoor Facilities (MUOF): Planned implementation (MUOF):
  • Upgrade playground surfacing, equipment, and fencing
  • The scope of all MUOF projects for Crest View will be defined by Master Plan/Operations
  • Provide adequate curbing and drainage
 
  • Replace aged and/or unsafe playground equipment

Information Technology (IT): Planned implementation (IT):
  • Upgrade WAN to provide capacity to support applications with high bandwidth demands
  • Extend WAN to building, upgrade head end equipment.
  • Upgrade LANs to provide reliable and responsive access to data, research, and information
  • Upgrade existing LAN distribution.
  • Implement VoIP to enhance communications capabilities and reduce cost
  • Install new VoIP telecommunications system.
