The construction drawings are complete. Construction is scheduled to begin in January.
 
Scope of Work

Facility Condition Assessment (FCA):

  • Fire alarm replacement
  • HVAC upgrades
  • Electrical service and distribution improvements
  • Interior finish improvements (paint, carpet, flooring, ceiling tile, etc.)
  • Irrigation system replacement
  • Selected exterior window replacement
  • Roof replacement
  • Replace boiler
  • Interior Signage Program

Program Compatibility Assessment (PCA):

  • Music and art room improvements
  • Enlarge library
  • Expand administration office and health room
  • Provide small group teaching spaces
  • Provide kindergarten remodel
  • Provide additional classrooms
  • Improve open space classroom acoustics

Multi-Use Outdoor Facilities (MUOF):

  • Upgrade playground surfacing, equipment, and fencing
  • Provide adequate curbing and drainage
  • Replace aged and/or unsafe playground equipment
  • Make playgrounds ADA accessible

Information Technology (IT):

  • Upgrade WAN to provide capacity to support applications with high bandwidth demands
  • Upgrade LANs to provide reliable and responsive access to data, research, and information
  • Implement VoIP to enhance communications capabilities and reduce costs
