CBOC seeks candidates
The Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) is seeking candidates for the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). The committee provides independent review and monitoring of the bond projects that comprise the 2006 bond issue approved by voters. Such monitoring and review is intended to provide a high level of accountability and communication on behalf of the Board of Education to the citizens of the Boulder Valley School District.
The committee is comprised of members from the entire Boulder Valley community. Membership terms for half of the seats on the committee will expire at the end of the year. Those seats are for representatives from Broomfield, Superior, Boulder, Nederland, Former CIPC member and teachers at the high, middle and elementary levels. Interested members of the public from these stakeholder groups are encouraged to apply for these openings.
Interested individuals are required to submit a completed application, a letter of interest and resume by close of business on Monday, November 30, 2009 to Superintendent of Schools Christopher King, Ph.D. at Boulder Valley School District, PO Box 9011, Boulder, CO 80301.
