American Indian Youth Leadership Conference
BVSD high school students and 8th graders as well as parents and community members are invited help plan the 2007 American Indian Youth Leadership Institute. The conference will be held:

What is AIYL?
This year's theme is:
Painting Leadership
The purpose is to look at current issues and events impacting American Indian communities (health, economics, education, drug abuse, etc) and Inspire youth to collectively discuss new ideas and ways to help them take charge of their own lives and make positive contributions to their communities. The goal is not to dwell on what is wrong but what can be potentially positive.
