Foothill Teacher Appreciation Week

This year teacher appreciation week is May 5th-May 9th. PTO has organized the following activities to help our classroom teachers and other staff members feel VERY appreciated. Our hope was that these gifts were from the kids. Participation is completely optional and greatly appreciated

  • Monday May 5th - have your child bring a note or card for their classroom teacher or any other staff member they would like to.
  • Tuesday May 6th - have your child bring in a flower from your garden or purchased from the store for their classroom teacher or any staff member they would like to.
  • Wednesday May 7th - the teachers and staff have a luncheon put on by the PTO and parent volunteers.
  • Thursday May 8th-have your child or yourself stop by and sign or decorate the poster for the Foothill Teachers in the hallway by the office.
  • Friday May 9th-have your child bring in a gently used or new book for the classroom.

Spring Clean Up

Sunday, May 18th from 9AM to 12noon, is the Spring Clean-up at Foothill. A back up rain date is scheduled for Sunday, May 25th, at the same time.  Come for one hour or three!  This is a great family activity to support our school!  Volunteers can bring their own favorite gardening tools or rely on extra tools that I will provide, along with water bottles and a snack. Our plan is to do a light weeding, raking and general tidying of the front flower beds, garden pads and courtyard.  If you have questions, contact Jenni Tierney at 303-447-0717 or honeysucklepress@yahoo.com.
