Eisenhower 2009 Dodgeball Tournament and Registration Information
The Game: Dodgeball is a safe, fun, popular game that Mr. Neitenbach plays with the kids in PE. We use a FOAM ball and it’s easy enough that even moms and dads can play! Ask your kids!
Brackets: Kindergarten/1st grade; 2nd/3rd grades; 4th/5th grades; and an additional category of parents, Eisenhower alumni, faculty, and friends. This is a double elimination tournament; everyone plays at least two games.
Teams: Each team consists of twelve players - coed, all female, or all male; all team members must be eligible for the same bracket. (No mixed child/adult teams; student teams may only include students from one or both grades within their bracket.) You may sign up as an individual or as a member of a complete, or nearly complete, team. If you know some of your team members will not be able to make a game, you may register more than twelve players, but only 12 players are allowed to participate in a given game. We will place individuals to fill incomplete teams.

Cost: Each twelve-member team must raise a minimum of $420 (more is wonderful!), or $35/player. Players may pay the registration cost themselves or seek sponsorship from family, friends, local businesses—be creative! You may also choose to sponsor other players and/or teams. Remember—this is our school fundraiser!
Awards: Mr. Neitenbach will host a pizza and dodgeball party for the team that raises the most money (and each team member gets to bring a friend). Players on the winning team of each bracket receive a trophy and bragging rights until next year’s games.
Registration: To register as an individual, submit only the Player Registration Form with payment. To register as a partial or full team, submit a Player Registration Form for each member AND a Team Registration Form with all payment(s). Forms can be downloaded from the links on the left side and are also available in the school office.
If you need help covering your registration costs, please contact us. Alternately, if you would like to sponsor another player or team, please let us know as well. All forms and payments (please make checks out to “Eisenhower PTA”) must be returned to the Eisenhower office by 3:30pm on October 16th.
